[Category-1] Qatar’s Most Innovative Project of the Year

The award for Qatar’s most innovative project will showcase uniqueness of aesthetic appearance of the overall building, including innovative visual impact while taking consideration of the buildings surrounding environment and the Qatari climatic and cultural context. Demonstrating specific attention to cutting-edge and creative solutions to enhance the operation and function of the building through its life cycle.

[Category-2] Qatar’s Overall Project of the Year

The award for Qatar’s overall project of the year will showcase the contribution of MEP to the project and the company’s total solutions approach witnessing a close collaboration between consultants from early stage of design. Focusing on solutions to architectural or structural requirements, with special attention to the implementation of new technologies adopted to improve existing projects. The projects should have also complied to deadlines and budget parameters. Specific attention must have been demonstrated to ensure safety initiatives were in place throughout the project.

[Category-3] Most Sustainable Vision Award of the Year

The award for Sustainable Qatar project of the year will highlight the full scope of MEP design and engineering services and demonstrated a contribution to the project being a “green build” and adhering to the guidelines and regulations of QSAS and LEED. The project will also demonstrate measurable conservation achievements in energy conservation, water conservation and solid waste and committed to post occupancy evaluation.

[Category-4] Qatar MEP Contractor of the Year

The award for Contractor of the year will go to the company that demonstrates best record of progress and delivery for its clients, while maintaining a high level of HSE records and demonstrating commercial strength and growth within Qatar over the last 12 months.
